Whether you're after a new look or have basic restorative needs, it's our goal to consistently provide superior oral health care in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere at the most competitive prices thus giving us a reputation for being one of the most affordable practices in Auckland.

We believe that a healthy mouth should not just be a luxury but that each and every person should be able to afford dental care.

Fillings

We offer all types of fillings. These include composite (white fillings), glass ionomers and amalgams. All have different qualities and we will advise you on what would be the best restoration for each of your teeth that require treatment.

Emergency Care

We always endeavour to keep appointments available for patients requiring emergency urgent treatment.

Hygiene Visits

This is generally provided by our dental hygienists. They provide a thorough cleaning to keep your teeth, gums and smiles looking healthy and beautiful. A dental hygiene visit is routinely performed every six months. Some patients with advanced gum disease may require more frequent visits to help reduce tartar and bacteria, and prevent periodontal disease

Tooth Exractions

Including wisdom teeth - These can be extracted under local anaesthetic or with the aid of oral sedation

Bridges

A bridge is a dental restoration used to replace missing teeth by joining to adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Crowns

Crowns are tooth-shaped caps which fit over your teeth. Crowns can be used over teeth with large heavily filled, blackened or root filled teeth. They can also be used cosmetically to improve the appearance of your front teeth

Root Canal Treatment

The aim of root canal treatment, (also called endodontic treatment), is to save a tooth that has been badly damaged due to decay, disease or injury. Normally this involves damage to the dental pulp, which contains the dental nerve and blood vessels.

This can be caused by:

  • breakdown of an existing filing or crown

  • extensive tooth decay

  • trauma

  • gum disease

  • cracked teeth

  • extreme wear

Symptoms can include spontaneous pain, sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures with lingering aches, tooth discolouration and swelling / abscess formation.

Once the root canals have been accessed, they are carefully cleaned, enlarged and shaped. Anti inflammatory and anti bacterial medicine are placed in the canals and then the canals are filled and a restoration is placed. Often a crown will need to be placed.

Teeth Whitening

Also known as false teeth, dentures are constructed to replace missing teeth and are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissue.

There are two types of dentures:

  1. Removable partial dentures for patients missing some of their teeth

  2. Complete dentures are worn by people who are missing all of their teeth. Complete dentures are in a single arch or both upper and lower arches.
